Dear Internet

  1. I like how xkcd has a random button.
  2. I like Dinosaur Comics.
  3. I do not like how Dinosaur Comics lacks the random option.
  4. When I have tons to be doing, I seem to procrastinate by doing pointless things.
  5. View a random Dinosaurs Comics strip.

you’re welcome,
Michael

P.S. AMT, I blame you.

I find this hilarious and wonderful. However, Dinosaur Comics DOES have a random button already! If you look above the comic that you are viewing, there’s a picture of a tiny T-Rex head and a quote from a random strip. If you click the quote, you are taken to the strip that features it. So basically, it’s a random button that doesn’t actually say the word “random” in it.

I hope this doesn’t make you feel like you wasted your time. I still think it’s awesome that you made your own random button. I heart you so world and I am so glad that I was able to introduce you to the glory of Dinosaur Comics. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

This is so, totally your fault! You did not give me a proper introduction! I think you should reply here and tell us about the weird contact links or whatever other shenanigans are to be had there.

Hahaha fine. Hello, all of Michael’s readers. Here are some Dinosaur Comics tricks that you may not know about.

1. If you read the comic through an RSS feed, each comic has a title which is not displayed on the website. There’s no way to see this title without subscribing to the RSS. For true fans only.

2. Hovering over any comic with your mouse will get you an extra little joke, just like xkcd and several other webcomics.

3. If you click the ‘contact’ link above the comic, the subject line of your email will be yet another joke related to the day’s comic. You don’t actually have to click the link though, if you just hover over it you’ll be able to see it in the status bar at the bottom of your browser.

That is all I know. Now everyone has the Dinosaur Comics knowledge that it’s taken me years to acquire. Enjoy!
